Grapat is a real family business, based in Spain. They got inspired when their daughter was 3 years old. She could play with everyday items and finds from nature. For example, Grapat developed playing with separate parts, 'Loose Parts'. Sometimes less is more. Less toys, less interruption, less instructions. By playing freely with individual parts, creativity and imagination are stimulated. The best part about the pieces is to dream up what they could be tomorrow. All toys are made of certified wood from Europe. All packaging is plastic free and the paints and oils used are water-based and non-toxic.
